Hornets continue their streak

Being one of his most impressive performances, Chris Paul helped out the New Orleans Hornets to achieve victory against the Dallas Mavericks and continue their winning streak of six wins in a row.

Paul finished the game with 27 points and 15 assists, making it perhaps the best of numerous highlights he has had.

Also, Paul’s skills were shown to its maximum, performing such moves as behind-the-back dribble on a fast-break before setting up James Posey for a layup. Paul hit 10 of 18 shots from the field, scoring on everything from driving floaters over crowds inside to perimeter jumpers.

His other teammates such as David West scored 19 points and Rasual Butler scored 18 points. Tyson Chandler returned to the court after a left ankle injury. His finished with 11 rebounds and 10 points, slamming down several alley oops feeds from Paul.

On the other hand, Dallas Mavericks Dirk Nowitzki finished with a total of 27 points, while Jason Kidd did 13 points and Jason Terry ended up with 10 ponts. Although, Nowitzki alone helped the team recuperate some points, it still wasn’t enough to help them win. The night before, they won against the San Antonio Spurs 107-102. Terry mentioned that this was one of the reason’s they didn’t play well, still it shouldn’t be an excuse to not play.

Chris Paul is a possible candidate to win this seasons MVP award and the way he has performed with the Hornets, it’s pretty likely that he might take that title home.
